Terms of Service

Effective from 2026-05-22

This document is a working draft pending legal review. The final wording may change.

1. General provisions

These Terms govern your use of the platform and services of „OPEN PLAY“ Ltd (OOD), UIC 208791351, with its seat in Varna, Bulgaria (“OPEN PLAY”, “we”), available at openplay.bg and at the company’s venues. OPEN PLAY provides a 24/7 self-service table-tennis offering - online table booking, card payment and access to the venue via a personal code (PIN), with no host on site. By registering and/or using the services you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.

2. Registration and account

To book and gain access to the venue you must register with a valid email address and name. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information. Your account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. The service is intended for adults. Persons under 18 may use it only with the consent and under the responsibility of a parent/guardian.

3. Bookings and payments

You book online for a chosen venue, table and time slot. The price for the selected slot is shown before confirmation and is due at the time of booking. Card payments are processed by Stripe; OPEN PLAY does not store your card details. You may also buy credit packages to be used for future bookings under the terms of the relevant package. Prices are in euro (EUR) and include VAT where applicable. A corresponding document is issued for each payment in accordance with applicable law.

4. Cancellation and changes

The refund amount depends on when you cancel your booking: • 24 hours or more before the slot starts - 100% refund of the paid amount. • Between 2 and 24 hours before the start - 50% refund. • Less than 2 hours before the start, or after the slot has begun - no refund. Alternatively you may move the booking to another available time, subject to availability. Because the service is the provision of leisure-related services for a specific date/period, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply (Art. 57 of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act / Art. 16(l) of the Consumer Rights Directive). This does not affect our cancellation policy above. For a voluntary cancellation, the refundable amount is added as OPEN PLAY credit for future bookings. If we capture a payment without delivering the service, the amount is returned through the original payment method.

5. Venue access rules

For each paid booking you receive a personal PIN, active from 20 minutes before the start until 10 minutes after the end of the slot. The PIN is personal - do not share it with third parties. You agree to use the venue and equipment with care and as intended, to respect order and hygiene, and to vacate the table on time for the next player. For security purposes the premises may be under video surveillance. You are liable for damage caused through your fault to the equipment or premises.

6. Liability

Table tennis is a physical activity - you use the venue at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, OPEN PLAY is not liable for injuries or harm arising from use of the service, except in cases of proven gross negligence or intent on our part. We are not responsible for lost or unattended personal belongings. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Violations and termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to an account in case of breach of these Terms, misuse of the service, PIN sharing, property damage, or conduct that endangers the security of the venue or other users. Repeated no-shows may lead to restrictions. You may close your account at any time via your profile or by contacting us.

8. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Disputes are resolved by mutual agreement and, failing that, by the competent Bulgarian court. As a consumer you have the right to file a complaint with the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Commission (kzp.bg) and to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms when the services or the law change. The current version is always available on this page with its effective date. We will notify you of material changes by appropriate means.

10. Ranking and public display

By taking part in tournaments and earning a rating you are included in the public OPEN PLAY ranking. Your position (TTR rating and season points) is shown publicly. Your full name and public profile page are shown by default. You can hide them - so only a masked initial + surname appears and your public profile page is disabled - by turning off public visibility in your profile settings. For details and your right to object, see the Privacy Policy.

11. Paying with a MultiSport card

At venues that offer it, part of the price may be covered by the Benefit Systems MultiSport programme. It is offered only within the schedule published for that venue, and only while places remain for the day. For a table booking, one active card covers half the price of the table for the first hour, and two cards on one table cover the whole of the first hour. Everything beyond that - remaining time, additional services - is charged at the published price. For tournaments the card reduces the entry fee by a fixed amount published for that tournament, applied after the promotional price where one is in force. The number of MultiSport places in a tournament may be limited. The detailed rules are in the Tournament rules. The uncovered part is paid in the way published for that venue - at the time of booking or at the venue, depending on which payment methods it offers. When you declare that you will use a card, you are stating that you hold an active MultiSport card and that you will record your visit on the electronic card reader at the venue, in accordance with the Benefit Systems terms. The card is personal and non-transferable; the declaration made for your table is your responsibility. • If the visit is not recorded, the covered part becomes payable and will be requested from you. Until it is paid it is held as an obligation on your account. • The card is valid for one visit per day. You cannot hold more than one MultiSport booking or entry for the same day. • Where visits repeatedly go unrecorded we may suspend MultiSport for your account. Paying by card and with credits remains available. The terms governing the card itself are set by Benefit Systems and apply alongside these Terms.
